6" blade' 7/32" thick; 11" overall. Rounded tang.These are Solingen Knife Blades which are forged from high carbon tool steel, hardened to 55-57 Rockwell, handcrafted, ground and completely finished. Solingen knives of Germany have long been noted for superior craftsmanship, long life, the ability to hold a fine edge and sharpen easily. These blades are available in a wide variety of sizes and styles to accommodate individual needs. The round tang models are threaded 10/32 for use with a screw type pommel. The flat tang models are pierced and counter sunk for easy application of scale pins or rivets.
