KN6201 Frontier Bowie

Described in Peterson’s American Knives as “ the bowie in it’s puriest form,” this design exhibits all the legendary features of this most famous of American Bowies. The blade is 12 ½” long, and 2 ½” broad at its widest. It has a deeply curved, sharpened false edge tapering to a needle point. There is a strip of brass from the front of the “S” shaped brass guard along the spine of the blade. A brass ferrule reinforces the guard; the walnut handle is 5 ¼” long, 18 ¼” overall; 1 ¼ lbs. weight. A genuine leather sheath is furnished. BLADE IS UNSHARPENED.
