LK0908 L & R Back Action Percussion Right Hand Lock

Back action percussion locks were a “late” style of lock. Used primarily on the hardware store line of guns, these locks did, however, show up on some better pieces in the mid to late 1800s. This back action lock is extremely fast and often used on competition, squirrel, and light weight boy’s rifles as well as shotguns. Plate is 4 ¾” X 1 1/6” and is fitted with stirrup type springing and fly. Right hand.
