MG0110 Liberty Cap - Red

The Militia and Minutemen who rallied at Lexington and Concord in 1775 were, mainly, dressed in civilian or hunting clothes. Since there was no set pattern or regulations concerning military dress, the soldier depended on his own clothes for wear. The head gear consisted mostly of the homespun, hand knitt6ed wool Liberty Cap. Each of our 1776 Liberty Caps are hand knitted without seams.
