The hunting pouch was an essential accoutrement to the early Mountain Men because the style of clothing these men wore made it necessary for them to have some means to carry their supplies and personal items; their pouch became their pockets. Here is an authentically styled pouch typical of the Fur Trade Period. Made from top grain cowhide with suede side out to give it a rugged appearance. It is all hand laced with the exception of the two smaller inner compartments. The two piece strap is laced together and can be adjusted to an individual’s body. Strap is 50” long and 1 ½” wide. The bag measure 9” X 10” and has 5” hand cut fringe. You provide the button; leather loop for closing is attached. High quality – USA made.
