PO5805 Pipe Bag

Of all the possessions of Native Americans the ceremonial pipe was one that was held most dear. It was only natural that their most prized possession be protected as much as possible. Pipebags were used to give this protection when the pipe was not in use. This particular bag is made from natural elk grain leather and is 18” long by 6” wide. The bottom is trimmed with 8” fringe. Pipe bags were often highly decorated, but this bag is left plain for you to bead, paint or decorate to your own personal preference. Leather colors will vary in cream or gold.
