BE0240 US Navy Dahlgren Bowie Knife Bayonet and Scabbard

Used during the Civil War on the U.S. Navy Rifle Model 1861. Heavy 12” steel blade; brass pommel and wooden handle with heavy brass guard and top strap which is grooved for bayonet locking stud. Features a spring and lock for securing. 17” overall. Black leather scabbard with brass tip. Includes leather frog for belt attachment.
