BE0246 US M1855 Saber Bayonet

Made between 1857 and 1861 to fit the newly adopted 1855 two band rifle from Harper’s Ferry Armory. Brass hilted with a 21 ¾” slightly curved, fullered blade, this beautiful bayonet is 26 ½” overall. Weight is 2 7/8 lbs. Bayonet is complete with brass mounted heavy leather scabbard and frog.
