TE2310 Bleeding Heart Pipe Axe

An authentically styled pipe tomahawk (axe) from the late 1700 early 1800 ear. The bowl is 1 ½” in length and 7/8” in diameter with two ridges at the top and three at the bottom. A “ teardrop” shaped heart or “bleeding” heart is centered in the blade. The edge of the blade is 3 ¾” with overall length of head being 9”. The eye of the shaft is rounded, 17” in length and made of what appears to be walnut (approximately 1 ½” in diameter). Small brass pipe in butt of shaft a mouthpiece. This is a smokeable pipe axe. It is not finely made, but rather has as original authentic look. Made in India.
