TE3222 Ft. Megis Axe

Copied after an original axe found at Ft. Megis, Ohio, circa 1750-1775. This handy little axe weighs only 11 oz. The head is 4 ½” long, 1 ½” wide at the eye, and cast from 1095 high carbon steel with the 2” cutting edge tempered to 55 Rc (Rockwell hardness). The poll is flat and unhardened. Measures 13” overall.
