Caliber is .38 WCF. Tapered round barrel is 20" long and mounted with a high bead front sight on a stud and a ladder style rear sight. The barrel has about 60% of the original blue finish remaining. Markings on the barrel are excellent. The bore is fine. The receiver is mostly gray with some small areas turning to brown. It is smooth with sharp edges and corners and excellent markings on the tang. The action works perfectly. The buttstock and forearm are made of beech and are in excellent condition showing very little wear. They fit up to the metal surfaces perfectly and are not broken or cracked. The magazine beneath the barrel is half-link. Serial number 596891, made in 1911. The buttstock is mounted with a standard carbine style buttplate. Saddle ring and staple are located on the left side of the receiver. Overall condition is very good plus. Modern long gun rules apply.
