Caliber is .30 WCF. Standard carbine configuration with 20" barrel and full length magazine. Serial number is 1230012, made in 1940. The barrel and magazine each retain about 99% of the original blue finish. Some wear to the finish is present on top of the barrel just in front of the receiver. The front sight is mounted on a ramp in front of the upper barrel band. Sling swivel is located on the lower barrel band. All markings are excellent. The rear dovetail is filled with a blank filler. The receiver has 99+% original blue finish as does the lever. The action works perfectly. The standard walnut forend and buttstock are in excellent condition although there is some wear to the varnish. The forend is a little more dull than the buttstock. The buttstock is mounted with a flat grooved buttplate. A Marbles folding tang peep sight is mounted on the upper tang behind the hammer. A leather sling is included. Overall condition is excellent plus. Modern long gun rules apply.
