Caliber is .32 Winchester Special. Standard carbine configuration with 20" round barrel with full length tubular magazine beneath the barrel. The barrel has a bead front sight on a ramp just behind the muzzle and an adjustable sporting style rear sight. The barrel has about 99% of the original blue finish and is excellently marked with manufacturer's name and model designation on the upper left side next to the rear sight. Tubular magazine has about 98% original finish with a little bit of edge wear at the forward end. Barrel and the magazine are attached just behind the front sight with a barrel band. The receiver has about 97% of the original blue finish. Serial number is 1100632, made in 1937. Action works perfectly. The walnut forend and buttstock are each in excellent condition with most of the original finish remaining. Forend is attached by a single barrel band. The buttplate has been replaced with a red rubber ventilated recoil pad. The original tang of the carbine buttplate on the stock is still in place but the stock has been cut off flat. In addition, the previous owner has engraved his name on the lower tang with an electric pencil. Overall condition is about excellent. Modern long gun rules apply.
