A John M. Browning design manufactured circa 1885 - 1920 - total production 139,725. Buttstock has straight grip w/ Schnabble forearm. European walnut. Satin oil finish. 2 1/2"drop, 14"trigger pull. Barrel is blued, 30" tapered octagon, 1.060 at breech to .895 at muzzle. Front sight, 3/8" dovetail, blued steel base and blade. Rear sight 3/8" dovetail, semi-buckhorn w/push type elevator, blued steel. 45LC has cut rifling .004" deep with 1 in 18"twist with 6 lands -.442 and 6 grooves .452. Ignition is 45LC black powder cartridge or factory loaded ammo. Features steel furniiture, color casehardened receiver, lever, hammer, breechblock and single trigger.
