CR0415 PEDERSOLI SHARPS M1874 SILHOUETTE RIFLE, .45-70

Taken from the original Sharps #1 Sporting Rifle. Pistol grip buttstock with shotgun style buttplate is American walnut with satin oil finish. Barrel is 30" long, tapered octagon and is blued with a matte finish. Cut rifling is .004 " deep and is rifled with 6 lands and grooves. Twist in the barrel is 1 turn in 18". The lands are .450 inches and the grooves measure .458". Chambered for the 45/70 black powder cartridge or factory loaded ammunition. The steel furniture comprises a buttplate, frame, lockplate, and hammer which are all color -case hardened. The tang is drilled and tapped for a tang sight. Double set triggers are present.
