An authenic reproduction of a Swiss muzzleloading target rifle used by European match shooters. This rifle has won gold medals in World Muzzleloading Championships in 1898,1990,1992, and 1994. It also won the team championship in 1981. Features American walnut half stock, 29 1/2" long, sation finish, 3 1/2" drop and 13" trigger pull. Barrel is .45 caliber, browned, 29 1/2" long, tapered octagon 1 1/8" at breech to .875" at muzzle. Cut rifling is .010" deep with 1-48" twist, 7 lands measure .450" and 7 grooves measure.470". Front sight is 3/8" dovetail steel hooded post, rear sight is Swiss diopter/tang adjustable for windage and elevation with wrench. Color casehardened steel furniture, double set/double phase triggers. Palm rest and muzzle protecting ball seater are included. Overall length is 48" and total weight is 15 lbs. Steel ramrod. Nipple is 1/4" x 28 and uses #11 percussion caps. Load with 45 grains of FFFg black powder and .440 patched round ball or .454 conical. Made by Pedersoli in Italy.
