2nd Model with push-button magazine release on the left side of the frame. Serial number 79091-S, made in 1950. 6" heavy target barrel with excellent markings on the left side. The left side of the frame is marked with rampant colt and "MATCH TARGET." Left side of the slide is marked "COLT/AUTOMATIC/CAL. .22 LONG RIFLE." Serial number is stamped on the right side of the frame above the trigger. This gun has about 98% of the original blue finish remaining. There is some slight edge wear on the frame and the barrel. The blue on the side surfaces of the frame and slide are high polished Colt blue with a matted finish on the top surfaces. Adjustable rear sight is present. Original magazine is also included. The gun is fitted with two piece checkered walnut grips with a slight thumb rest on the left side. These grips are well made and finely checkered and are custom made. The gun comes in an original hinged top brown cardboard box with rampant colt on the outside of the lid. The inside of the box is green in color with Colt trademark printed in gold inside the lid. Included with the pistol is the original brown wrapping paper, target and instruction pamphlets. Overall condition of the gun is excellent plus.
