17568 DWM LUGER MODEL 1906 AMERICAN EAGLE PISTOL

Serial number is 48697. This is the early short frame. It is 7.65 caliber. The slender tapered barrel is 4 3/4" long. Barrel has about 70% original blue finish remaining. The top of the chamber is marked with an American eagle and the toggle is marked with a DWM logo. Faint straw colors remain on the take down lever, trigger and on the ejector. Overall, the gun still has about 75% of the original blue finish. Two piece checkered grips are in fine condition. Grip safety is present and the safety lever is unpolished underneath the safety lever in the fire position. No lug for attachment of a shoulder stock. Wooden base to the magazine is not marked. Overall condition is very fine.
