18212 COLT NEW SERVICE DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVER

Serial number 18382, made in 1907. Caliber is .44/40. 7 ½" barrel with six-shot fluted cylinder. The barrel is excellently marked with the Colt address and patent information on top ending with a June 5, 1900 date. The left side of the barrel is marked "NEW SERVICE CAL.44." The barrel has about 60% original blue finish. Blade style front sight. The frame has about 80% original blue finish with fairly sharp edges and corners. Standard style frame. Action works perfectly. Excellent blue finish remains on the rear surfaces of the hammer and on the smooth trigger. The sideplate on the left side is well marked with rampant colt. Two piece checkered hard rubber grips are in excellent condition. Lanyard ring is present on the butt. Overall condition is excellent.
