.41 rimfire caliber. The round barrel is 2 ½” long. It is marked “COLT” in large letters on top and retains about 80% of the original blue finish. It is mounted with a small silver blade front sight. The brass frame has traces of original silver plating present. The bottom of the barrel is marked with British proof marks. The left side of the frame is marked “41 CAL” along with a rampant colt beside the letter C which is the trademark of Frederick von Oppen who was the London agent for Colt Firearms. Two piece walnut grips have several light dents and scratches but also have about 90% of the original varnish. The action works well. Overall condition of the gun is very fine.
