.41 rimfire caliber. Steel frame and barrel are light gray in color and smooth with no pitting. The barrel is well marked on the top flat with manufacturer's name and address along with "No 2". The original factory scroll engraving on either side of the frame is moderately worn. Slightly more of the engraving remains on the left side than on the right side. Barrel lockup is fairly tight. The trigger screw which is slotted on the right side of the frame has a slot which is somewhat damaged. Serial number 1840 stamped on the bottom of the barrel along with British proof marks. Hammer clicks up perfectly. Two piece checkered walnut grips are in fine condition with about 30% of the original varnish remaining. Checkering is in fine condition. Overall condition is very good.
