18789 COLT OFFICER’S MODEL TARGET REVOLVER

1st Model. Serial number 236065, made in 1904. Caliber is .38 Colt. Six-shot fluted cylinder with 6” round barrel. The barrel is perfectly marked with Colt address and patent dates on top along with “OFFICER’S MODEL COLT D.A. 38” on the left side. The barrel is mounted with an adjustable target bead front sight with an adjustable sight located on top of the flat top frame. Barrel has about 40% original shiny blue finish remaining with balance faded to dull gray. The frame has about 90% of its original shiny blue finish remaining. The left side of the frame is stamped with a rampant colt in a circle above the grips at the butt. Two piece checkered walnut grips are present and fit perfectly. Overall condition is excellent.
