19106 SMITH & WESSON .38 SAFETY HAMMERLESS REVOLVER

5th Model. Serial number is 248725. Made from 1907 to 1920. .38 Smith & Wesson caliber with 3 1/8” round barrel with integral top rib. Nickel plated overall with about 98% of the plating remaining. All markings are excellent including the caliber designation stamped on the right side of the barrel and “SMITH & WESSON” on the left side. Manufacturer’s address is perfectly stamped on the top and the Smith & Wesson monogram logo is stamped on the right side of the frame. Five-shot fluted cylinder is present and the action works perfectly. Barrel lockup to the frame is tight. Brilliant color casehardening remains on the trigger with virtually all of the shiny blue finish remaining on the triggerguard. Two piece checkered walnut grips show very light wear. Overall condition is excellent plus.
