AL6735 Early Musket Sling

This sling is not for any specific musket but can be used on almost any early style musket. It is made of brown leather and is 1 7/16” wide by 47” overall length. It is adjustable. To install the sling, first unlace the front portion; run the sliding keeper over the unlaced end and then run the unlaced end through the rear swivel going from the front of the gun with the raw side of the leather away from the gun. Now run the unleashed end back through the sliding keeper and then run the unleashed end through the stationary keeper on the end. Now run the unleashed end through the upper swivel from the muzzle end and retie the leashing. Adjustment can be made by sliding the stationary keeper to the desired location and then slide the moving keeper down tightly against the rear swivel.
