Here are some additional remarks about this gun. The problems I have had with this gun are related to the plating on the cylinder pin and the loading lever. The plating made the cylinder pin TOO TIGHT and I was unable to get a Howell conversion cylinder to work. The loading lever is also TOO TIGHT because of the nickel plating. You can remove the loading lever and take 220 grit sand paper and sand it till you get the nickel plating off of the bullet seater. Then it should work freely. Also while you have the loading lever off you can remove the cylinder pin and again take 220 grit sand paper and remove the nickel plating then it will not be such a tight fit and should work correctly. After doing this I found that my Howell conversion cylinder worked fine. I think it is very nice gun but the nickel plated version you have some problems to correct. The spring is very heavy on the trigger. That is fixable. I am buying an extra spring in case I mess up.
